As claimed:
This electric yogurt maker is Deni’s sole offering in this category and is a component that builds up the broad range of Deni’s small kitchen appliances. The Deni 5600 1-quart electric yogurt maker creates smooth and creamy yogurt. There are six, 6-ounce glass jars that come as a part of the package; it helps in making six differently flavored yogurts at once.
The ice cream machine unit has a see-through lid aiding in monitoring the process. The shutoff timer operates on 6 hours and 12 hours modes and has a buzzer to announce completion. As an added convenience, the parts of the 5600 ice cream maker has been made dishwasher-safe, making cleaning a snap. At 8.5/6.25/10.5 inches and with a one-year limited warranty, it is possible taking it outdoors frequently.

The six glass jars failed to generate extra interest and this is something several competitors of the Deni 5600 have introduced the market to. The jars have individual lids; this is what people found convenient about storing the finished product inside the freezer.
They are environmentally friendly as well; unlike plastic bags, they are less likely to litter the surroundings. The built-in timer and an audible alarm are accurate; it is a feature that sets apart this ice cream maker model. The other ice cream making machines featuring the timer are priced higher than this Deni model.
The 5600 yogurt maker also has an inbuilt incubating unit, which is essentially a base with heating facilities inside a transparent cover; the 1 year warranty is possibly too less to cover that many parts. But then again, the 5600 complaints rarely and feedbacks on its technical aspects have mostly been positive imparting the ice cream machine a great reliability. At $30, it is pretty much a wise choice, provided the buyer knows his/her choice of yogurts.

A little yet great yogurt maker! Deni 5600 plays it full gusto for every batch of yogurts, the jars of exact volume of what may be considered pleasurable consumption. They have the right sizes for single servings and if by any chance a jar goes missing, a six-ounce baby-food jar shall make it up. Also comes handy when making multiple batches is in plan. Now, about the bad part of the jars, which is the ridge inside, at the base. It makes cleaning a little…no, a great deal difficult and a cleaning brush is thus must. Else, it’s high water pressure that’s needed. Due to the unit’s somewhat irregular shape, other types of glass jars need being squeezed in and there are times when the accompanying tops don’t really fit.
There must also be some instruction regarding the alarm and the auto shutoff feature in the manual that went unseen; perhaps that’s why the piercing, fire alarm-like sound. If it worked automatically, why did it have to scream for human assistance? Apart from this automatic thing, the rest of the operations are cakewalk, as long as we omit the part of resetting the timer if requirement is for 10 hours or more.
But the yogurt maker handles its primary job well and that applies most to the recipes not in the accompanying cookbook; at an awesome $30, it brings forth more options for culinary experimentation.
All in All:
An overall good product for the money, the Deni 5600 yogurt making machine makes more pricey options available at less. It is good at turning almost every yogurt recipe into reality. The jars require a bit of struggling at first (not the supplied six-ouncers but externally sourced), which reduces advantage partially. In simpler words, it’s a good choice for them who have a preference for multiple flavors.
